Hordak: For you.... the day Hordak graced Eternia was the single most important day of your LIFE. But for me? ...It was TUESDAY.

Eh, the Horde does brainwashing in the new series, just a more realistic version - ie indoctrinates their soldiers since childhood hat the Rebellion and Princesses is evil (shown since first episode) - and even if they realize the truth, they have so much subconscious hatred, fear and distrust, it's unlikely they will join the Rebellion.
This is visible with Catra, who seems to believe on some level Princesses are vain and egocentric, despite realizing Horde is evil for years now (then again, Catra is a walking bundle of psychological issues).
This is further visible with Scorpia - it was shown in the Season 2 Light Spinner episode, the Horde conquered her people and and took the Black Garnet by force, but Scorpia knows only and believes the Horde version were the other people of Etheria scorned them, and they allied willingly with the Horde, offering their Black Garnet.
The same episode also implies a lot of Horde soldiers are from captured children, often orphaned ones (ie Hordak ordered Shadow Weaver to take Adora to other captured children in the infirmary).
This makes the Horde even scarier - if they win, in a generation, maybe few, the conquered people will (at least largely) believe they were "liberated".
All of this certainly involves destruction of records showing the truth about the Horde.

The big dad himself
strange thing is in the 2002 show he wasn't written up to be cybernetic
good redesign though
But thing is with your analogy there is if the wrong person reads a whole new slew of nut might rag on the original show even more the fans of the current show

They won't read it wrong.
Those who are fans of the new show are already hating on the original.

When someone wants an evil empire in their stories, they always look to Nazis for inspiration. Let's ignore that the Romans' and the Ottomans' reign were around five times longer.

Nazis were more recent, though.

Not only that but their crimes are much worse compared to the crimes the Romans and the Ottoman Empire did too.

Again, excellent job on the artwork and info. And, yeah, good eye as far as the comparisons between the Horde and the Nazis.
