Just like the Big Bad Wolf, another villain that has been used in count-less medias and portrayed differently is the Witch (mostly the one from "Hansel & Gretel" ).

As what the Good witches of oz said: "There are good witches & bad witches."

And here 10 of my favorite witches.

#10. The witches from "Macbeth": Who doesn't remember the infamous poem they say?
"Double, double
Toil & trouble

Fire burn,
And cauldren bubble."

These were the original 3 Fates of Time before Disney's "Hercules."

#09. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter): Book or movie, there is no doubt that Hermione is the favorite female character of the "Harry Potter" franchise.

She's smart, loyal, and very determined.

#08. The Sanderson Sisters (Disney's Hocus Pocus): Whether the movie scared you, or made you laugh, there is no doubt that the Sanderson Sisters are some of the most frightening & hilarious villainesses ever created.

Especially when Sarah, Winnie, & Mary interacted with the bus-driver.

#07. The Winsome Witch (Hanna-Barbera): Despite her being inspired by the witch from the "Hansel & Gretel" story, Winnie actually doesn't even hurt a fly, and has the personality of a great-aunt you would like to have.

#06. Samantha (Bewitched): I grew-up watching the reruns of old sitcom on TV Land, and "Bewitched" is one of my favorites.

And what made Samantha unique from the previous witches in the past (besides being a lovely married woman of a mortal guy), she doesn't need a wand or any magic spells to do her tricks.

All of her powers are just at the tip of her nose (literally).

#05. Sabrina Spellman (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) : If there was one reality teen show I would watch without any shame, it'll be "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."

I like Sabrina's sarcastic attitude, and the interaction with Salem (who you can tell was a just a puppet, instead of a believable cat with a CGI mouth ala-Dolittle).
And how she tries to be the sane one out of her family who just love their magic like a kid loves candy.

#04. Witch Hazel (Looney Tunes): Before "The Looney Tunes Show" turned her into a sterotype black mother, Hazel (not "Lezah" ) was this crazy witch that tries to be evil, instead she makes us laugh.
With her bubbly personality & crazy laugh, what's not to like about her?

#03. Scary Godmother: If you mix the imaginatiuon of Mary Poppins with the wackyness of Ms. Frizzle (from "The Magic School Bus" ), you get Scary Godmother.

Plus, she knows how to throw a good Halloween Party.

#02. Wendy the Good Little Witch (Harvey Comics): Being the best love-interest of Casper & decreasing people's fear of witches every year, this cute little pajamma-wearing comic-starlet will always be around with all of the other Harvey characters. ^^

#01. The Season Witches: Out of all the versions of the Oz witches, these are my favorite interpitations of them.

Because they are not catagorized as "good" or "bad", and are very important to the story & game, just like the nympths from "Rayman Origins."

Flora is the youngest and controls the land of Spring, and is so cute!^^

Delphie is the Summer Witch who was allergic to metal when Dorothy & friends came across, but than her allergies faded away, and she developes a crush on the Tin Man.

Holly the Autum witch (and obviously a representation of the Witch of the West) is very important to the story, because she fallows Dorothy and friends telepathically, and she's a fortune teller

And their mother, Snowso the Winter Witch (not pictured), is the one who sees who the real villain is in the game.

Plus, look at their adorable pet cats!
