Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, the Gangreen Gang are actually doing their mercenary/bounty hunting jobs & with real weapons against these giant mutated cockroaches (presumably belonging to Roach Coach). Without the aid of superpowers nor a "destruct-o-ray" (who needs that big thing when one has access to a warehouse full of more useful & portable weapons).

And that's defiantly not mustard nor nacho cheese coming out of those mascaraed bugs.

*Easter Eggs/References:
1.) Snake's choice of weapon is a chainsaw. As seen in the Whoopass Girls (proto-type Powerpuff Girls) short film project, "Whoopass Stew." And that same chainsaw was finally used in "Aspirations."

2.) Those metal gloves Big Billy is wearing originally belonged to Rocko Socko the Gorilla, one of Mojo Jojo's minions from "The Powerpuff Girls Movie".

3.) Big Billy ripping that cockroach in half is a reference/homage to what Juggernaut did to Deadpool in "Deadpool 2."
