Description
Here's three different styles of Marsupilami and Namie's (the name of his mate) triplets: Bibi, Bibu, and Bobo.1. The Original comic illustrations: Yes, the marsupilamies are egg-laying mammals (like platypi and echinas).
And the reason why Bobo is black, is because marsupilamies also have the same fur-genes as jaguars. They can born with yellow fur with spots (or none), or a rich colored black fur.
2. The Marathon Cartoon Designs: These designs come from a French studio called Marathon (who continued the Marsupilami series when Disney lost the rights to the cartoon).
Strangly enough, Bobo is actually the one that is the closets to his parents (it's the cheek-mask) then Bibi or Bibu.
3. My Take on the Triplets: I'll admit that I sort give them a Sega-que like look on them, but I did that to give them more a more innocent and child-like apperences they are suppose to have.
Plus, it's to make them 35% cutier ^^
And I replace their monkey feet with human baby feet to fit the style better.

As you know, Warner Bros. Animation does the English Dub for Marathon Cartoons to the USA. They did Totally Spies.

I hope they do for the Marathon Maruspilami cartoons.

But Why? I prefer the Disney version (where Marsupilami has a sidekick gorilla, Maurice).

Because I like the Marathon version too, and it wouldn't hurt to see if they do a better or equal job of a voice-cast like Disney did.
I don't know if Franquin (the creator of the Marsupilami comics) hated the Disney-version of his creation (because of the changes); But I don't think Marsu comic staff would allow Disney to make anymore Marsupilami cartoons, because they sued them (after the first season) for using their character without their permission.
Plus, I can imagine Hyden Walch (the voice of Starfire from "Teen Titans" ) as the voice for Mars' mate Namie.

One person told me that the Marsu-Triplets reminded her of the Warner Siblings. Which is is true that the Triplets do have personalities that are similar to the Warners (as well as the kittens from "The Aristocats" ).
Bibi is like Dot Warner and Marie- She trys to behave herself like a lady, but with two brothers that like to play rough, she sometimes can't help but fight with them. And Bibi does get all sissy when she doesn't get any respect.
Bibu is like Wakko Warner and Berlious- He's the middle child that is a glutton, is short-tempured and a bit absent-minded. And he gets into a lot of fights with Bibi, than Bobo does.
and Bobo is like Yakko Warner and Toulouse- He's a total smart-aleck, a little rascal, a show-off, and always pretends to as tough as an Alpha-male marsupilami. But he still he a heart of gold deep down, and he has a soft for pretty faces.
