This is Rei Ameyama 's OC, for our AT.*Ameyama , Sorry this took so long to complete. I've been really, really sick. I hope you like how he turned out. Sorry if his hair is a little too messy...I got carried away. *sheepish*

Heeee! It was fun being able to go all out with the lashes again. I love long full lashes on guys...well, truthfully, most of the guys I know HAVE long super thick and fully lashes. It's only the girls that have thin sparse ones like me, so...yeah.
This was the start of my new hair drawing method that I'm probably way, way to much in love with.

I guess it explains why the girls pile on the make-up to "bring out" their eyes while guys don't need them. Most likely they don't even realise that they have nice lashes lol.
I suppose hair is your next favorite thing to draw after eyes right? XD

Most of the guys I know are completely clueless about those things. But yeah, it's funny as a species of Mammal that we have things so backwards. In nature, among mammals, fish, birds, it's the male that is noted for their beautiful plumage, and striking figure, and the female is deliberately designed to be duller, and more muted. How'd we end up so backwards eh?

Now that you mentioned that, you're so right. Yeah there are so many examples in nature where the male is more beautiful and striking than the female. For humans, I guess it was a result of our patriarchal society in the past. It's not so bad in the present, but females are still expected to "beautify" ourselves and look good while the men can get away with it. I don't think nature intended that to happen
Haha I think your third favorite would have to be the lips, judging from the amount of time you spend on them

Yeah, I want to use that technique more often now that I've started figuring it out. I need to buy some more art supplies though. There's a certain kind of eraser I need to get, and more pencils. I'm really going through them quickly.

Ah, well, my 6B are $3.50 a piece, so not too bad. I need two more tablets of paper, but I get those as the department store, because the art store only carries the expensive ones, which ironically, I don't actually like. I only like the cheap ones. I need another couple packets of blending stumps, a pack of those is about $3.50 too, and a couple new kneaded erasers, those are only a couple bucks as well. Then I need to find the right kind of hard eraser...not sure how much that one will cost, will have to shop around.

Really? See painting supplies and such are expensive here, but just plain drawing can be gotten for a relatively low cost. That's part of why I'm sticking with Graphite, I can afford it.
