I adore this character, but I still feel like I haven't quite nailed him. I'll need to draw him again, and get him just perfect.

Ah, I find it much easier than some of the other guys.

Ah, just his hair, hehe. Other parts of him were really challenging. His hair though, there's an easy secret. The only tricky part is the original outline you do. Figuring out where all his little spikey hair locks are coming out. Once you have that mapped out, you just black it in, using strokes the direction the hair goes. Solid black for him, so easy peasey. Then you take like a mechanical pencil and add all the individual hair strands to the clumps and in between.

I know, right?! They took my fav Saturday morning cartoons and combined them into such epicness! Hisagi could totally pull this off, cause just like it, he's cute and bad ass combined

It took me soooo long, and I'm still not completely happy with how the shading turned out. That paper is sooo much harder to get good shading results on.
