Not sure where the idea of a messenger fox came from, but it seemed pretty cute
An overenthusiastic fox that loves her job, i think foxes would make great messengers in the city XD

Curiously, I was trying to remember her name, fell half-asleep and almost instantly a story and a new fox sprang to mind! Of course, just an idea: when she comes to deliver a letter to a fellow fox, a jeweler/doll repairman she nicknames "the steampunk fox" because he always wears a top hat with a pair of glasses around it (he invented them: glasses can be changed to darker ones, for instance, when he does soldiering) and because he ALWAYS has a jeweler's magnifying glass over an eye... when she arrives, he is struggling against a hen... a mechanical one he received from the city and which resists all his efforts to remove the head so he can reach the inner mechanism...

A friend of mine told me to have a notebook and a pen in my night table, to jot any dream I remembered...h hehee...everyone that passes before that shop thinks he's trying to butcher a real hen! To boot, his name is Mandrake.

The problem is this: to reach the mechanisms our jeweller must inspects and repair, there's no other way... if he tries to reach by the wings or legs, he can damage more the inner mechanisms; chest or back are not suitable, more armor than a tank! So he must remove the head of the mechanical fow... and it's not going to be easy!

And, to boot, she finds a folded piece of paper under his stool... where there are the complete instructions to open the hen!
"Sweetie, please go to the kitchen: serve yourself all you like"
