That is quite possibly the reddest tree I have ever seen. Did you enhance it in any way, or is it really that luminous in real life?

Heh me neither, they always end up looking very strange.
Wow, that tree is practically florescent. I didn't know colours like that occurred in nature. Then again, it doesn't exactly have to worry about camouflage... and come to think of it quite a few poisonous animals and reptiles which also don't need camouflage are sometimes similar colours. I wonder if there's any advantage to being this red, or if it's just a coincidence.

just the way it goes.
Green clorophyll bleaches out first, leaving the red. and yellow.

That's fair enough, but why SO red, you know? No other tree I know of goes that colour. I guess it just has unusual combinations of pigment. Less red more yellow, or something along those lines.

There will be a LOT more red before long, not everything has changed yet.
When the whole forest is changed I will take pics.....lovely.
