Description
These were the final character development sketches for when I was doing my HMC projects last year. As you can see, the sketch of Sophie and the one of Michael made it into the chapter heading illustrations, but the Howl, who is very static, did not.Characters created by Diana Wynne Jones.

Michael is so cute. I shall love him forever and ever. Howl looks a bit odd with such a long hair. Nice still though.

The book is so much better in so many ways... Michael shouldn't have been a cute little kid, but a handsome young teenager. Sometimes, movies aren't that great.

I think they probably made Michael a child in the movie because Sophie and Howl were made the age of book Michael for the movie...I kind of wish they had been older, too. Ah well. It's still a cute movie.

I love sketches and pencil art. I like how the hair came out on the character to the far right.

I really like how the facial proportions are like..perfect! Perfect as in non-symmetrical but still fits properly. I've been trying to figure out how to do that forever! I really like the expressions on the two males. They have personality written all over them. ^_^
