(i'm dead, fuck you)If you pick your scabs they don't heal. If you contaminate them they get infected. You have to learn to leave them alone, stop fussing with them, give your body time to heal. If you don't, the scar is nastier.
Emotions can be the same way. You have to give yourself time or it blackens and rots until what's inside you is toxic.

I'm not usually in to this genre (zombies and such) but I really like this shot. I love the colors, the make-up, and ... this might sound odd, but the curve of your shoulder works really nicely there.
