Hello everyone..... I'm new to deviantart. This is my first submission.Medium used is charcoal. This is a part of my project at college. I dunno who this is ..... just got a pic from the net n used for reference.

I personally prefer charcoal to pencil ...... gives me more depth n variations.
Yeah it's messy alright ......... but I haven't seen any artist who remains clean after work

tips: charcole fixes, doesnot spreads n lasts long when u apply hairspray on it .

Actually, I asked my art teacher about that, and she said that hair spray can dull the picture and make it less vivid. That doesn't happen to you?
