Description This is a university illustration from 2 years ago, I was doing a series of illustrations on morals and fables. This doesn't use the same eye trickery I tried to use in the Sheep in Wolfs clothing (or role reversal, because that would just be strange!) but I was trying to give the lion a look of still being wild, as though he's weighing up whether to let the mouse set him free or just eat him anyway.

Fineliners on A2 paper.

This is amazing! I love your style of drawing and shading. It almost looks like a (very detailed) linoprint. Great perspective and composition. This deserve more likes!

Thanks so much! I get what you mean about it having a lino print 'feel', I think that's because it's been shrunk down so much from the original
