Well these are evolutions for Sableye. Sableye belongs to Gamefreak and Nintendo. The others belong to me.This is old and I have a newer better version with visual tweaks. Ignore the stuff about the attacks that is extremely old and out of date as well as being absolutely ridiculous in hindsight.

Hey Kevichan, would you mind telling me the meaning behind the name Takadon? I assume don is from Latin -don which could either refer to tooth or to lord but what about taka? Please tell me, I been dying to know ever since I saw this artwork a few years back as I am very interested in language and word etymology.

I did this a long time ago and at the time I didn't really base the names any specific word. Kinda just made them up, unlike some of my later fakemon.Β

The sad part is, sableye can never get an evolution. If it did it could hold evolite. It would be completely unstoppable.

Did you know, Sableye is based on a supposed alien encounter, the Hopkinsville Goblin? I really like your design, though I think that a Sableye evolution should be based on something similar.

Yeah no real harm done. I'm sure she learned her lesson haha. I mean no offense but why even go through the trouble of copying this one evolution anyway? Without all the cool facts like name, level, and attacks it loses a lot of value. It was clearly done to portray the general concept as a whole.. not one part. It's a great picture but I feel like the artist could do a better job if he wanted to just draw the fake second evolution. It's like somebody copying a part of a blueprint sort of hahaha.

Sooo I wasn't familiar with this generation of pokemon so when I looked up Sableye's evolution, this was the first result. I thought it was real and I got so excited that I trained him up to evolve... Found out later he doesn't (obviously). I was pretty disappointed. I wish this was real so bad!
