Awwwwww. That ending was so cute! I think you drew this quite nicely too. I like how you made each of the situations where she wasn't terribly reciprocating not seem so much as mean as indifferent. Sometimes one doesn't feel up to an enthusiastic greeting, or to actively interacting with someone... but that doesn't mean they don't care, or that they wont be there to help make things easier when it is needed. This was sweet.

ME. My cat was the shyest little bugger sometimes, but he was there for my first real breakup. XD Oddly enough, I didn't feel the shock of it til 24 hours later, but nonetheless I walked through the front door that day and collapsed on the floor in tears, and my cat was right there purring away. ;w; He was my best friend.
