She sure looks kooky! Liking the neat tron-esque outfit though. Can't go wrong with computer-chip-looking glowy patterns! And of course the Aran-style mounted arm gun and light sabre. Pretty neat-looking, though I'm not sure I can trust someone of that mental state with all those weapons. Nice job!

So, I'm guessing Derpycon was originally largely MLP focussed? Just judging by the designs and the names, I'd say they're based on Doctor Whooves, Derpy Hooves, and Pinkie Pie.
They look cool in all their retrogeek gear.

sorry for such a late reply, I'm not actually into that stuff so I'm not sure myself, asking someone who's actually been to one might help, things like artists taking commissions there wouldn't be affected, you could set up for anything so long as you had the skill to also draw ponyfications and stuff.

Β I think its geared to a much wider group of people. Bronycon is a better example of the 'literal' MLPΒ conventions. Not that Derpycon is any lesser, it just seems that its more of a broader convention than just MLP stuff. Still hope I can go this year. =]

Yeh, I think I got confused cos there seems to be no specific focus on MLP at all outside of the mascots.
