the portfolio sketch is iconic looking and so cool.

hey, it's me! lol. i can totally relate to almost everything i've seen in these sketches so far...especially feeling inferior because i do mostly digital art. oh, and it really sucked watching people just walk by my portfolio too...or looking at the first page or two and moving on...sadness. but oh well! now i know how to make it even better for next time!

Not sure. I will admit I felt REALLY awkward there, so maybe I emitted "Don't like me" rays, but there were a couple people who were REALLY nice to me that I doodled here (like Sarah and Amanda and Adam on the previous page.)

That and the general feeling that being a cartoonist (as opposed to a fine artist or traditional illustrator) in this feel is gonna be an uphill battle.
