Not as much as you'd think.

Seinkewicz, Zulli, Veitch, Pope, Fox, J. Kubert, Moebius, Toppi, McGinnis, Williams, Foster, shit like that.

WOW!

Those are the same guys im into (minus Kubert and i never seen Zulli or Veitch(but that will change in 2 min))! I would also add Ashley Wood, Mahfood, Toby Cypress, Tenaple, Schrab, Jiminez, and Tim Sale on Superman Kryptonite TPB.

BTW...dont know if you figured it out or not but this is Ed Bickford. I made up this name a long time ago and i am just too lazy to start over. LOL.

Your new stuff is pretty Awesomes dude! Its so good it deserves Plural!

I'm not much on Tenaple, Jimenez or Sale, but the others are def. stuff I've considered. Usually when I find modern stuff I like, I break down who they're influenced by and seek that out instead. Looking at what they looked at (hopefully) allows you (me) to come up with something different.

Yeah, I figured out it was you, Ed.

Thanks for all the compliments, I appreciate it.

No problem all deserved comps. Your stuff is looking great. cant wait to see a whole book like that.

I also dig the old greats. Joseph Clement Coll, Franklin Booth, James Montgomery Flagg, you already mentioned Al Williamson but im trying to think of who took over Flash Gordon for him. Walt Simonson rocks.

Yeah, i have two, actually. An Epson 1400 I bought a few years ago during a crazy half-off sale and a Brother all-in-one I bought this year just for the large-format scanner (Also during a deep-discount sale).

good snag man. At work I got this HP Laserjet 5550n. It's pretty high production and pretty nice but if it doesn't jam on that thick stuff it'll curl it pretty good. Being so big it has a long way to travel inside that big body. All those rollers... Thanks for the heads up though bud, I would like to have something reliable at home.

The Brother MFC6490 seems to be the model to get if you need both a scanner and printer. It's large format, obvs. It does curl the paper slightly, but nothing I found bothersome. I only use 300 series, but I've been told it has issues with anything thicker than that. The Epson 1400 is a great work-horse and if you keep it clean (that means no dust and pet hair) it'll run perfectly for a long time.

HEy thanks for taking a sec to give me the heads up man. I'll definitely look into it cuz there are times I would love to rethink my process similar to how I imagine yours. or At least to give it a shot. Somethings stick, somethings don't, and I love it.
