Another commission! This time a redesign of Magik. Decidedly, she's a mashup of her Earth 616 design and her original costume. Somewhere in between that, we have this beast. I'm happy with the pose and the stylized anatomy - the latter is something I've been trying to recapture. I feel like I used to be better at that and these days I concern myself too much with trying to be realistic or accurate anatomically and I think there's a sweet middle ground. Anyway, hope you guys like it, feel free to let me know what I did HORRIBLY WRONG.Related content

I love this design, it works so well for what the characters been used for of late, and has a really great classic comics feel, while being modern and fashionable. Just Perfect.

This is awesome!! If I would have any criticism on it, I would say that the background is a little busy. But don't get me wrong, this piece is amazing and I love your style!

I think this looks great, especially the simplified anatomy. It's something I admire a great deal about your work and that I try to teach myself, cause I fret too much over teeny tiny details nobody is going to notice and my characters end up looking stiff and forced and terrible. So thumbs up, I say.
