What I would like to do as a full character makeup at IMATS this year, if possible.A different version of the little mermaid.
Sometimes magic is just science misunderstood.

This would've been great to see as a makeup f/x for sure! I think the feet would look cool showing the webbed toes, or more finned/webby feet like:

I actually avoided the webbed feet approach for this just because her legs were surgically made than magic.

It looks amazing really good job
As a critic i'll say it is a little bit hard to fully interpret all the parts, it took me a look to your tumblr to recognize the breeding device on her back and the nature of her dorsal fin.
But perhaps that kind of vage texture was part of your goal with it, i dunno,

yeah, i keep the other image (w/o color) to make sure i present the idea as clear as possible. the color does muck up the clarity of that is going on for that.

a sort of rebreather... for fishy peoples. a reverse air tank. a thing for her to not die...
i've put a lot of thought into it, as you can tell.
(there's better representations in the wip stuff... sort of.)
