Royal Family

Keyara the Hedgehog – Main protagonist, she’s believed to be the chosen Maji that will free her people from the darkness the dark Maji will bring upon the world.
Keuray the Hedgehog – Keyara and Cole’s mother and a former light Maji, she teaches Keyara about the importance of showing kindness and compassion but also about the dangers of the dark Maji. However she wasn’t able to see Cole for most of his childhood.

Kerto the Hedgehog – Keyara and Cole’s father, while Keuray is of a sweet nature Kerto is more serious and wants to protect his daughter from the threat of the dark Maji, once even trying to trade places and take the task of destroying the dark Maji himself so that Keyara can grow up happy, care free and safe. He never got to spend much time with his son while he was growing up which makes him that much more protective of Keyara.

Cole the Hedgehog – Keyara’s twin brother, only sharing little appearance with her and not much else. He was raised by Natali a friend of the family that lived quite far away, he was never told much about his parents until about a week before a battle broke out.

Dark Maji Family

Artemis the Hedgehog - Abandoned at birth due to his mother not wanting him, he was raised by the ‘dark creatures’ who made him as heartless as he is and thanks to them he shares their ambition of destroying the Royal family and claiming the land as his own.
Lara-Tsuki the Hedgehog – She was always a very dark and moody child, one day she’d had enough of her family and decided to run away. Shortly after she found Artemis and the two set off on a quest to make the world their own. Family was something they never planned.
Demon the Hedgehog – First born his father took a shine to him and wanted him to follow in his footsteps, however Demon was very curious of the world and often crept out to see it. Eventually he found Keyara who made him see the good in the world and soon he found himself falling for her.
Ruby-Moon the Hedgehog – Second born and last to be noticed. Ruby takes after her mother in a lot of ways, from her forever annoyed expressions to her grouchy nature. She desperately wants her father to pay more attention to her but he always seems too busy with Demon, this only irritates her and makes her more determined for his attention.

Elders

Elder Syri (Female) – Her real name isn’t Syri, in fact no one knows her true name. She was forced into an arranged marriage (much like the customs of the people in this time). She was then Syra’s wife, their combined power is said to have created the magnificent elbow blade Keyara possesses.
Elder Syra (Male) – His real name isn’t Syra, in fact no one knows his true name. He was forced into an arranged marriage (much like the customs of the people in this time). He was then Syri’s husband, their combined power is said to have created the magnificent elbow blade Keyara possesses.
Elder Lokuha (Female) – Her real name isn’t Lokuha, in fact no one knows her true name. She was forced into an arranged marriage (much like the customs of the people in this time). She was then Lukea’s wife, their combined power is said to have created the magnificent elbow blade Keyara possesses.
Elder Lukea (Male) – His real name isn’t Lukea, in fact no one knows his true name. He was forced into an arranged marriage (much like the customs of the people in this time). He was then Lokuha’s husband, their combined power is said to have created the magnificent elbow blade Keyara possesses.

Other family members

Hikari the hedgehog – Keyara and Cole’s grandmother from her mother’s side. The only elderly in the Royal family, she also teaches Keyara many things and she’s also the reason for Keyara’s middle name.

Maids and Guards

Meg the Lynx – Meg is Keyara’s personal maid and helps her perform basic tasks, changing, cooking and occasionally brushes her hair. She’s also been somewhat of a sister to Keyara through hard times and especially when her parents aren’t around.
Siren the Bat – As a creature of the sky Siren is exceptionally good at spotting things a mile away and has the role of guarding Keyara’s quarters ensuring her safety from anyone trying to sneak in.
