Raivis Galante shifted uncomfortably. This was it, this was it. Today was the day he would introduce Lily, his girlfriend, to Ivan, Toris and Eduard. It wasn't Toris or Eduard he was worried about; Ivan was what scared him most. What if he hurt her? Or made her feel uncomfortable? He would feel awful about it. He took a deep breath as he sat on the bus next to her. Lily would meet them, and stay for dinner. Compliments to Toris. Raivis's heart pounded madly in his chest. His thoughts began to race again. What would Ivan do if he didn't like her? What would her brother think for that matter? What if Toris and Eduard didn't even like her? How would they-

"Raivis, it's going to be okay," Lily spoke suddenly, touching his shoulder gently.

"I-I know...but I'm just a bit...anxious...I'm worried what they'll think..." Raivis replied, stuttering as he went.

She smiled, and hugged him.

"Would you stop loving me if they didn't approve?"

"O-of course not! I-I love you too much to just...stop..."

The girl laughed softly. Her hand rested on his cheek.

"Just stay calm, and be yourself! I'm sure it will go great!"

He nodded, though he didn't agree too much. But before he could say anything more, the bus stopped and it was their stop.

"Come on!" Lily said gleefully and took his hand.

She pulled him all the way off the bus. Raivis smiled lightly as he followed. The couple walked towards his house, and he stopped in front. Taking one, big inhale, he opened the door and called.

"I'm home!"

There was a silence before Toris's calm voice came into earshot.

"Welcome back! I'll be there in a moment!"

Another pause, the noise of things clattering to the floor, some worried shrieks, and some bustling were heard. But before long, the Lithuanian man revealed himself unscathed. He smiled warmly as his eyes fell upon Lily.

"Ah! You must be Lily! It's a pleasure to meet you Milady!" Toris complimented, extending his hand. The blond took it.

"No, the pleasure is all mine!"

Toris only nodded and looked to Raivis.

"She looks like a fine young lady. You've chosen well!"

Raivis blushed, but smiled.

"Ivan isn't home right now…lucky you?" the brunette chuckled lightly.

The Latvian merely nodded.

"Now, Miss Lily, would you like something to drink?"

"Yes, thank you!" Lily replied calmly.

"We have water, milk, juice, oh! We have tea too!"

"Water sounds nice."

He nodded. "Raivis would you like anything?"

"No thank you, I'm fine…"

"Alright then," and with that, he returned to the kitchen.

There was a momentary pause between the two, Lily decided to break it.

"Mister Toris seems like a delightful person to be around…I like him!"

"Yeah, Toris is like the mom I never had…I think he likes you too though! There aren't many people Toris doesn't like…"

"I can tell," she paused, "so who is Ivan?"

Raivis, Lily noted, physically tensed. The girl cupped her hand around his shoulder.

"Rai? Something the matter…?"

"Ivan…is…Ivan is…" he shivered, but she had a feeling not from the cold.

"Ivan is what?"

Raivis's voice suddenly took a scared yet dark tone.

"I-Ivan is a monster…he…he hurts me, Toris, and Eduard so much…I'm wondering how Toris and Eduard can still be happy with him around…"

Lily was slightly taken aback with his answer. Just what was this Ivan like? Something in the back of her head told her she just didn't want to know.

"Well…" the blond girl suddenly felt bad for asking. Just then, Toris walked back in.

"Here you are and-Raivis? What's the matter?"

The blond boy shook his head; his eyes were still scared however.

"N-nothing! I'm fine!"

The Lithuanian looked unconvinced, but said nothing. He turned his attention to Lily.

"So! Why don't you take a seat and tell me about yourself?"

She did so. The girl smiled lightly and took a sip of the water.

"Well…I was born in Liechtenstein, but I don't remember too much about it. My parents were divorced and my mother took me. From there, we went to Switzerland and met my step father. Then of course, my step brother Vash."

She paused, as if recalling the fond memories of that time.

"Vash was the greatest step brother I could've ever asked for. He always made sure I was safe no matter what. I always felt so secure around him."

"Eventually, when we came here, I wanted to be more like him. So I cut my hair short, like his. Vash was shocked at first, but in the end he told me I actually looked better with short hair," Lily smiled.

"Then, well…people began to think I was a boy. This is why I wear this," the blond indicated towards the purple ribbon in her hair.

Raivis had to admit, he was a bit shocked. He'd never known all of this.

"Wow that must have been nice! Is Switzerland a nice place?" Toris asked.

"Yes, a very nice place!"

"Wow Lily…I feel bad now! I never knew all of this…" Raivis murmured quietly, though Lily heard him anyway.

"Don't feel bad! I never mentioned it, and it's not that big a deal!"

The three laughed. It felt so natural, as if there wasn't a care in the world.

"What is everyone in here laughing about hm?"

They all turned simultaneously. Toris spoke out first.

"Hello Eduard. I was just meeting Raivis's girlfriend."

The man who was revealed as Eduard grinned.

"I see! She looks like a nice young lady!" he commented.

"Oh she is! Our little Raivis has very good taste!"

Lily began to blush at the amount of praise she was receiving. Raivis too blushed, and he slid his hand over hers. The girl looked at him for a moment, and then beamed, her sea green eyes twinkled.

"Oh! Well…I guess I should start dinner now…" Toris said suddenly. He shifted his glace at Eduard, signaling him to say something similar.

"Yeah! I should be getting back too…I think you two will be alright alone yes?"

The two blonds nodded together. With that, the two elder men stepped out, leaving the younger teens alone. A long pause ran over them, but their hands never moved apart.

"I'm glad they like you…" Raivis whispered.

"I am too…"

Another pause went by, the Latvian turned to her. He took her hands into his own. She looked genuinely surprised. He opened his mouth to speak when Toris called.

"Come on you two! Dinner is ready!"

Raivis quickly shut his mouth and grinned sheepishly.

'I'll tell you later,' he mouthed, and stood.

Lily nodded slightly, understanding fully, and she too stood. The girl followed Raivis into the kitchen where they sat down. Luckily for Raivis, Ivan still didn't seem to show up. Knowing him, he was probably out with the Chinese boy he was constantly talking about. His name was "Yao-Yao" or something along those lines. But wherever he was, he was out of the way, and Toris was more than likely the most grateful. Dinner was far from silent as well. It was full of laughter and chatter. Raivis was ever so glad that Toris and Eduard liked her.

Later that evening, Lily and Raivis were alone, waiting for Vash to come and pick her up. But amidst the silence, the Latvian broken it.

"Lily…I…thank you so much for coming. It was…wonderful with you here…"

"You're welcome…I really enjoyed it here…with you too…"

Another pause…but he turned at took her hands into his once more.

"Lily…I love you…more than…I've ever loved anyone else…I'm grateful everyday you're by my side…so…thank you…thank you for staying with me…"

The girl was surprised at the confession, but smiled warmly.

"Raivis, you don't have to thank me. I love you too, and there's not one thing I'd change about you if I were given the chance…you're sweet and kind, and…I dare say I haven't loved anyone more than you either…so I should be thanking you…"

The two embraced, each beaming with joy. Just then a car was heard pulling up.

"That's Vash…thank you for inviting me, can you tell Mister Toris and Eduard too?"

"Of course, see you again soon?"

"Yes! Goodbye!"

Raivis waved as she headed towards the door, but she stopped and turned around. The girl came back and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Just wait until you meet Onii-sama~!" Lily said as she waved and ran out.

Hysterically, Raivis was not looking forward to that.
