Short for Automatic Cybernetic Organism Automaton.

For operant reasons soldiers call them dummies or silicon cans. Currenty few in number, Autocybotons represent all that humanity achieved in robotics and cybernetics: clumsy, huge, heavy, monofunctional, ugly... yet productive and fairly simple in use. Autocybotons are still new to the army and usually are deployed as sentinels, sleepers or shock troops mainly because they are incapable of doing anything but guarding, waiting and storming.
Contrary to popular belief among low ranking officers Autocybotons are not a product of reverse engineering of salvaged Cord'e warriors and skirmishers and are a 100% human tech. Though a certain amount of resources is regularly spent on figuring what makes Cord'e tick.
