Contest piece for Legacy of Lily fanclub [link]
The premises was for Itachi's Birthday drawn him in Lily's style or reminiscent of it. I thought it would be a great learning experience to try to expand my art style with anothers. It was fun and interesting. Nice to take a chance to draw a tribute to Itachi and Naruto too. I don't do much fan art. Hard for me to work with other's style and characters, and being copyright to another nothing you can't really do with it appose to your own works. But boy is it fun, illustration for your mind and heart! I'll probably clean it up via-digital and make a black and white version some time.

I was kinda going with--Itachi takes a moment to sneak back to the Uchiha compound for his birthday and to remember in memorial of a happier time and place. A dark and quite piece.

Symbolism/Flower Language.
Poppies in general mean Eternal sleep, oblivion, imagination- Red often just means pleasure, white poppies are symbolic of sleep.
Sweet Pea (Suitopi ) in Hanakotoba (Japanese version) means -- Goodbye
I was going for Eternal sleep and goodbye.
