an angler fish i made to test out some transparent sculpey i bought recently. the teeth, fins and bulb thingy are made out of the transparent stuff. glass eyes and acrylic paint were used as well.here's some other angles of it [link]

I love what you have done with Super Sculpey here! That stuff was really hard for me to see when I worked with it, so I had to move on to oil-based (and decidedly more opaque) clays.

I see! Do you ever mold your work, or do you mostly create baked and painted Sculpey pieces? 'Just curious.

well when it comes to my sculptures, i have yet to cast/mold any. i have bought a casting kit but just haven't decided on what/when to use it yet.

i used some of the transparent sculpey and just made it really thin with my noodle roller.

i just looked up transparent sculpey, is it really liquid or is it kneadable?

it's kneadable, it comes in little blocks like other colored sculpey or fimo. so it's just like the regular stuff

I love this, the teeth especially are so well done. I like these fish, they're so scary. I think you captured them well with this guy.

i love these fish, their so creepy and glowy at the dame time. You should try making a Stoplight Loosejaw, they're another kind of deep sea fish that has a really interesting design

thanks, and i've been considering doing another fish of some kind. the creepier the better and that fish certainly is creepy. it's on the list now
