Haha, I totally get what you mean. xD Many of the new designs are a bit... much? Like
they have way too many details on them. For our Fakemon we decided to try and stick to
that old simplicity

I think I´m just not made for the 3D gens, I´d rather stick to my pixels and my sprites

Fire star's the Aztec god, and the snake in the Chinese zodiac, Grass star's an okapi, and water star's a dunkleosteus.
Love the ideas for all of them!

the grass start looks sick, amazing designs, think you should find a rom maker and get him or she to make a Pokemon rom together with your designs.. would be epic to see some decent fakemon games.

Quetzalisk is so original, I might even pick it, even though I've always picked water. I love the design for your grass one (the tail being a flower is really pretty and a nice touch). The water one is just plain awesome, and that's how I like it lol

This are WAY cooler than some of the last couple generations of actual pokemon have been. The names actually roll off the tongue rather well, and the art for them really looks like it's from the pokedex pages of a game guide

these are all SO FLIPPING COOL. I LOVE the quetzalcoatl-inspired design and it's a very unique fire starter. I also think the grass starter is genius, especially with the flower as its tail. it works perfectly. and the water starter....just plain cool. no other words for it

Out of these three, Giranthia looks the most Pokémon-ish to me. It is rather cute for a fully evolved starter and looks like it will be a fast special attacker. Really interesting.
However, my favourite design is definitely that of Quetzalisk. I simply love flying type Pokémon and if they look unusual, such as Gliscor or Gyarados, so much the better. Quetzalisks head is just awesome, its eyes and its snakelike body make it look so elegant and feral at the same time.*__*
But I can also see the appeal in Bracosteus. It looks like it can dish out a lot of damage, but can also take a lot of hits. Kind of funny, that it is also the smallest of the three (as far as I can see).
