this was taken at 6 am on february 15th, 2003 - a saturday. a few hours later, more than 1 million people marched through the hyde park and the streets of london, protesting against the united states of america's policy towards iraq and the UN.a book by ian mcewan takes place entirely within this day. it's called saturday.

i mean that, since i live in the us, its weird that this is a picture of a place that was protesting against where i live...pride maybe? haha. but it doesnt matter because...this photo is gorgeous

the place you live doesn't have an opinion of its own. the people from there yeah... but each person has their own thoughts! besides, the protest wasn't against the USA. it was against a specific action taken by a few people, for undeclared reasons. nothing against the US or people from the US. and last, but not least, you should comment - even more so - about something that goes against what you or your fellow men think, as a right to an answer, if nothing else.

Wow ... I don't know exactly why, but I saw this picture and fell in love with it.
Must be the warm coloured bridge, the brisk sky and of course the beautiful, beautiful reflection.
Plus the composition of where the bridge leads the eye through the picture, to the trees, back to the reflection... hach... I just really, really like this shot!
