This was done for the Satellite Soda summer art-book for 2007. Sadly that book most likely won't see the light of day. Either way, I had fun doing this as well as a few other pieces.Done in: Corel Painter IX and Photoshop CS3

The necks on this picture look like they're hurting real bad.
Beside that, the colours look fantastic.

Has no one ever taught you the basic laws of perspective? And what the hell is wrong with that girl on the right's face? Her eyes are too close together and you gave her fish lips. Great artistic achievement there. Go you!

Excellent, mang. I just dig the transition from daylight to shadow areas, it shows contrast but doesn't feel out of place, which is good. The only thing that kinda bothers me are the hands, I do recommend some real life references for that, but as for the rest, this piece is very well done. Sucks that the book won't make it, though. I should get back to posting on SS. D:

Thanks for the comments. The only reason I did this one was because I really wanted to try that contrast between daylight and shadows. As for the hands, they've always sucked. I realize it. But part way into it I just say to myself "screw it. it's almost your style now." Because I want to get working on the rest of it.
