Thank you! That is how I started, by drawing but something was missing, and it was paint. I never get bored while painting. You'll love it! and don't get discouraged!

I'll have to see if I prefer it to drawing, I'm a self confessed pencil addict But I'm always open to new techniques, so I'll give it a go! Might start with a study of a pop art piece I've seen in an Art book, just to get used to using paint, then I'll do my own creations if I'm any good. The strange thing is I bought loads of paints and stuff but haven't used them yet :S So now's a good time to start.

You damn right! It's time to start something new! doesn't mean you have to give up drawing. You still have to draw when you paint! Good luck to you, and hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

yeahh, I suppose I have an advantage in that sense. I really do need to broaden my horizons, especially to build up a nice portfolio. Thanks for the luck, look out for my first painting soon !
