I donated blood for the first time today it felt good to know that my blood would be helping people. I wasn't even scared of the needle...........................Ok maybe a little lolRelated content

lol good, cause i had some friends along time ago that did it and they felt like they were gonna throw up afterwards and so blood shot eyes from them taking the blood lol it was crazy

oh wow that sucks. I had to get a shot in both arms because when they put the needle in my arm I jumped lol so they had to take blood from the other arm.....yea not fun but I felt fine afterwards I just ate some of the snacks that they had there and drank some water.

I was kind of worried because it was my first time but it wasnt as bad as I thought it was gonna be I'm gonna most def donate again when they come back to my college in april

Oh i can imagine, i think most people get nervous donating blood... especially for the first time, because everybody reacts differently. But if you had something to eat you should be fine. But should you feel faint, go sit immediatly and if possible nibble on something salty and vinegar... we have potatoe chips in South Africa from Simba brand called :Salt&Vinegar, they work wonders if people feel fainty after donating blood...

yea right after I was finish I just ate some snacks and drank water and I was ok. we have salt&vinegar chips down here I never really tried them.
