Description A really successful class-doodle I tried to salvage with some digital handywork. Yuck, I wish things would go this well when I want them to!

I'm swinging between all sorts of styles and I'm still not sold on what I want! But I think at least my pencilwork is getting cleaner and more consistent. This is a bit more towards the traditional fantasy illustration approach.

Dragons dragons, everyone loves dragons. This one's scale layers remind me of a fluer-de-lis.

And yeah, it was quick :'D but I didn't want a blank space of doom! I'm working on rendering aesthetic forms simply. My painting skills still need to develop

For some reason, I really love the bottom of the background where there are all the little light and dark streaks XD
This is looking so awesome though. I love how you did those scales.

Thanks! It was a fun little touch to add. And I had soooo much fun with the swooshy nonsense scales. I need to incorporate more of this in my work, I think.

Loving the lushness of the feathers, and the structure of the lips/nostrils. It's a little bit different from what I'm used to seeing from you, but oh so lovely in its differentness.

Yeah, it's more like the pencil drawings I did for the BIO hyenas and stuff from the dragon books I've been pouring over in my spare time; good ol' Ciruelo and the classics. It's different! I used to aspire to this exact look and attempt it much more often, now I have a lot of conflictions about how I want my art to look. :'D
