In the City of Angels hope is something nobody should never lose. Michael Peterson was the name giving to him at the orphanage he grew up in after his parents who where too young and unable to support him give him up. The orphanage was run by the Catholic Church Saint Peterson that was also a Catholic School. Michael was a quite and lonely kid who was very bright when it came to school. The children of Saint Peterson Orphanage were lucky to have a small extra role in different TV shows including a Christian theme superhero show called Bibleman.

As Michael got older he started to lash out in anger and the only options was to send him to Military School so he could learn to work with other and respected authorities. With the training and when Michael turn 18 and nobody seem to want him, Michael join the US Army and after 316 mission both combat and non combat Michael was rewarded many medals. On the last mission Michael and his squad he was appointed was ambushed by the enemy, the convoy of supplies they where exporting was under heavy fire the humvee Michael was in was bombed. Michael wounded was able to keep the enemies at bay until his squad was able to regroup and backup arrived. Michael was rewarded the Purple Heart and Army Distinguished Service Cross Medal but his eyes where too damage so he was sent back to the States for medical treatment. Michael was almost completely blind, he was color blind and could only see blob shapes his face was badly scar. After his discharged from the Army, Michael return to the only place he knew Los Angeles that was almost destroyed by "the" earthquake and was renamed San Angles.

Saint Peterson the Catholic Church had fallen into bankruptcy and closed, the Pastor and even the nuns where transferred to different Churches. Saint Peterson Orphanage that was a few blocks away from the Church was in control by a Private Army called Headhunters lead by a commander named Headman. The Headhunters where using the Orphanage as a headquarter as they act like a Military Police controlling the block on the surface with rules, but the fact they where a mob using the Orphanage as a illegal drug factory plus prostitution.

Michael broke into Saint Peterson and used it as a home for himself, dealing with the demons in his head while the demons of the real world keep there grip on the block. On the Day of Souls Michael fight with his inner demon was about to take a heavy price on Michael, unable to handle his PTSD and lost of his eyesight, Michael taking the bell rope tied it around his neck and was about to take his life. Hearing a stranger calm voice telling him not to give up on hope as he is not forsaken, he is broken but not forsaken as Michael purposed in the city was not over. Michael trying to see the person who say those words, he was only able to see shapes but what he saw something in him say believe it, a angel with dark wings was standing in front of Michael with their hand reaching out to him. As Michael touch the hand of the dark wing angel the word of God enter his heart, as the darkness show him the light, the armor of God draped over him like Bibleman, Michael became Salvation protector of Saint Peterson, which became a safe haven for the forgotten souls.
