Acquiring either Code or Geass will give the person the Symbol, CC has 2, on her forehead and on the lower chest, Lelouch has only on his left eye, after the scene in the "World of C" he got the 2nd one after killing Charles.
A proof that a person have the Code and a Geass is when you touch a person with it, his/her memories will be shown to you, like in Season 1 episode 1 where Lelouch first touches CC.... and in Season 2 when Nunally touches Lelouch and his memories were transfered to her...
