Description My half of an art trade with Willow_Fengs over at TLKFAA

Been wanting to put more work into my bgs.
The water was a pain in my rear end and I'm not even sure that I like it.

Just gotta keep practicing I guess^^

dear god you are like a fricking Leonardo da Vinci of the 21st century Damn girl you're brilliant. This is gorgeous!!!I bet Willow is going to just absolutely adore this!! the water is fantastic I especially love the reflections and ripples, and the anatomy of connor is perfect One question though, how on earth did you get the clouds to look so dang real?! I can never get mine to look that good XD It would be awesome if you made a tutorial for it C:

I'm no where near any of that but it's nice of you say so^^

As for the clouds, that took a lot of practice. It's one of the things I've always wanted to work on, quite a few refs helped with that. That and patienceXD

I really don't think I could make a tutorial, I SUCK at explaining things...really it's quite sad lol

Wow, this picture looks truly amazing!!! That background's so amazing and a real eye catcher because of all the lovely details!!! ^__^ Especially love how you did the water since it looks so realistic with the ripples and with the reflections in it! Must have been a real pain, but it was actually worth all the work since it looks amazing!!!! And so does the character as well!!! Really love the pose as well as his expression and you did an awesome job on all the fur and hair details!!! So really amazing work and such a stunning picture!!! ^^

Yes indeedy it was a pain, had almost given up on actually trying to get it to look semi decent, but decided to keep at it anyways.
Why must water be so hard??
But I guess in the end it was worth it, learned a lot while doing this. Hopefully more to come like it^^

wow! you know im actually drawn more so to the bg? ^_^ i mean geez the amount of effort you put into it really shows. it's captivating. i love seeing how much you've grown digitally as well as art wise in general. truly amazing. i always tend to think back to mr. mcknights class when we used to share pics before class or after, maybe during if we had a sub. Woah dude the water is AWESOME! I seriously LOVE the way it shimmers like that! Those highlights you added are seriously an AWESOME touch!! I love how billowy and detailed the clouds are too!
