Description
It’s been a while since I did anything with Darkus. In fact not until a few months back did he change from what he looked like here [link] when I was going through the angular jaw phase.

New Darkus, as you might be able tell, is an anthroid (they do fascinate me so). He was developed by the BIOTech Organisation to rid the English countryside of a type of artificial life which they’d accidentally released a couple of years beforehand. He was developed to have a mind that was fully conscious of itself and could express emotion as well as solve problems and learn. Effectively he was alive, even with his artificial body. However BIO built a device into his ‘brain’ that would suppress all independent urges, meaning he’d do whatever they asked without question. The orb he held in one hand was the primary source of his energy. It was able to absorb energy from any electrical device and transfer it wherever Darkus wanted, whether it be to power machinery or recharge himself.
However, during testing at their main facility, a malfunction in the defence mainframe resulted in him being hit by an electrical pulse from a turret gun. He survived the shot but the charge was enough to short the indipendence suppression circuit, meaning he was able to think clearly for himself for the first time.
After BIO believed Darkus to be in working order they packed him aboard a transport helicopter, headed overnight for their facility in Buckinghamshire. They ordered him to completely shut down for the flight; however he only went into hibernation. Shortly before they reached their destination he re-awoke and in the following confusion accidentally drained all power from the helicopter engines, causing it to plummet from the sky.

Anyway, Darkus’ story, like Sam Clarck’s, was thought up as an idea for a video game.
The plot goes on to him meeting with Khanco F and him defeating the mysterious creatures that BIO released etc...
