Gaze in awe upon the results of someone who doesn't understand Photoshop and just discovered grunge brushes.

This is Doppel, a new character of mine and one I'm pretty pleased with. He is a reversible dragon; meaning that his entire body is double sided including his head. His brain is mounted sideways inside his head with the two hemispheres positioned one above the other. Both sides of his head represent one of the two hemispheres, with red representing logical functions and yellow handling visual imagery and imagination.
The functions that Doppel is capable of at any given time depend on which side of the head is dominant. Processes that require both sides of the head, such as understanding music, are passive and work at all times.

To change sides his head flips over, the wings swing down under the arms and the legs swivel around. His elbows are double jointed and can be used in both directions, because of this he has two opposable thumbs on each hand.
With his yellow head dominant he has thick armour plating running down his back with smaller red scales on his belly. When he flips over and his red side takes over the armour plating protects what is now his belly and the red scales now cover his back.
