Description Fluxpark was a dangerous Decepticon criminal who possesed the ability to travel through time. He was being held in forced stasis lock abord an Autobot prison ship in the early years of the Great War, when it came under attack from a Decepticon strike force. In the ensuing confusion the power to Flux's cell was cut, enabling him to make his escape. With their security forces tied up with the attackers the only Autobot to notice him escape was his personal warden, and intial captor, Capasitron. Flux stole a shuttle and, dodging attacks from both sides, managed to escape into deep space.
Unfortunately for him, the shuttle didn't have a large energon stock, so he powered down all the systems leaving him to drift through space. He once again went into stasis lock, programming the on board computer to awaken him once the shuttlecame close to a suitable planet. He remained this way for almost 4 million years before the shuttle fell into orbit around the planet Earth in the year 1985. Sensing an interesting time signature emminating from the planet, Flux traced it back to its source. He touched down somewhere in California, near a town called Hill Valley. Here he encountered the source of the signature, a crude steam-powered time craft in the shape of a Rogers steam locomotive. Struck by curiosity at how such a primitive race could develop time craft, he scanned the locomotive, at the same time taking it as his alternate mode. After concluding that the vessel posed no threat to him he went to destroy it, however he was interrupted by the arrival of his old warden Capasitron. The two briefly fought before Flux escaped into the past, setting in motion a long pursuit through time itself.

I am a NERD, end of story. Yes this is some bizarre crossover between Back to the Future and Transformers. Actually my intention is to keep the two storylines seperate, I just wanted an explantation for the two robot's alt modes (Capasitron being the time travelling Delorean). Maybe you could say they both briefly entered another dimension, before returning to their own. I dunno, you probably didn't read all that anyway.

Four marks to you for hitting just the right components for this guy. Mark 1 The Jules Vern Locomotive (official name according to the BTTF wiki so take that with a grain of salt.) for a alt. mode, Mark two steam train alt mode in general, Mark 3 BTTF and Transformers together, Mark 4 Combining two of my favorite 80s series into one.

It would have been a perfect five but he's a Decpticon and not a Autobot but I'm not complaining at all. Just think that Seam Locos are ment to be heros most of the time is all. Too much growing up with Thomas the Tank Engine. Heh heh.

May I hazard a guess Capacitron is the BTTF Delorean? If so I'd use the version from part 3 with the White wall tires and the control chip on it's hood (I know it was a Vacuum Tube box not a chip but I called it that as it replaced a chip.) I would love to see that. Not every Autobot can have a belt now can they?

Ha ha. Great work here Kahnco. Also I too am a Nerd. So let them observe our words and weep. XD

Cool! Tranformers rock! (although i will admit my faves are the beast wars ones over the car ones megatron is always cooler as a t-rex )
This looks really cool. Nice details
They should actully get steam powered transformers (and a delorean one for sure). A whole army of steampunk transformers that turn into old fashioned cars and trains and airships etc........... I think this idea should be pitched to hasbro/bandai/michael bay or whoever's in charge of the transformers now....
Also, nice backstory to the character too.

They actually did publish a three part comic based in the industrial revolution (or there abouts) in which the characters transformed into various steam-powered vehicles; it's one of the ones I really want to read. Bumblebee looks pretty freaking awesome in it, he's some sort of twin-funneled tank engine.
Beast Wars was cool, undoubtably one of the best written Transformers series so far. To be honest from a purely story driven point of view, I know there are reasons for it, but I always felt that them deciding that changing into animals was a step backwards for them all. It wouldn't feel so weird if the series was based before the origional show. But that's just me nerd-rambling.
