I see, so she got the best of the best but was treated as a sensationalist thing as well. No surprise on the whole dissonance with the elder sibling though, I'm guessing the big sister is human?

Yes indeed, and the sister is a biological child of the LaRivieras, too. I am still not sure why they then decided to adopt another kid later, but it would probably have to do with the mother becoming infertile some time after or even during first child birth.
All the more reason for the older one to scorn her new, cute, fuzzy sibling I guess P=
I'm also still ambiguous about how the family would have treated Fifi after Pinky met her again, calling her "little sister" and all. The relationship between the LaRivieras and Mademoiselle would have changed over time too, as she went from lowly seamstress to business tycoon

Could very well be empty nest syndrome, since the age difference between the 1st and the last child is so great.
Meeting Fifi again would have been awkward at best for the new family I suppose, if not awkward for everyone involved XD

Well, Pinky did manage to use her Dad's influence to get Fifi promoted from needlework to fashion model after all. So it can not have been too bad. But Mam'selle is a very charming personality, after all ^^
