Description An unusual set of stairs on the London Underground, found whilst I was having a wee pootle around the huge complex of Bank-Monument station. This has obviously been vignetted to within an inch of its life - I happen to like the way the light flows over the surfaces this way, like a moth's wings.

It was pretty difficult to get this shot with no-one in it as it was rush hour and there were lots of people calmly and slowly (not) making their way up and down these stairs but I finally got a very brief moment with an empty staircase and started shooting away.

I love it. Love the blue tiles and kinda gold/yellow on the stairs. I actually think it would have been better with single solitary commuter making their way up or down the stairs.
