Description My entry for Wacom's 3rd Anime/Manga Contest.

There's no theme for the contest. Participants were asked to do whatever inspires them about Anime/Manga.

Here's the brief description of my work:

"Creativity and versatility - these are the things that inspire me about Anime/Manga. You are always free to let your imagination play to your heart's desire.

The girl above is the "imaginary" me or the persona that I wish myself to be - energetic, creative, expressive and fun. Anime/Manga has continuously inspired me to be this kind of person. Above all, Anime/Manga has given me the most wonderful feelings - happiness and determination to reach for my dreams no matter what it takes."

Dedication goes to my surrogate father, Seph-chan Duque, the person who always bullies, torments, punishes, insults, tortures and teases me for the unending patience, tons of advices and most especially inspiration to finish this piece!

Woo ashteeeg~ you went with the 2nd pic : > I love the hair! (well alam mo na un e) and the orbs/eyes and the pattern on the clothing. Although I find the white line on the dress kinda odd. Maybe it's just me xD And the pink earpiece's right part needs to be a little farther up? Haha ang arte coh xD

Anyway, I really love it nonetheless~ great work

Yeap, 2nd pic is more of a challenge din kasi, something I haven't done before. Wow very observant eyes you got there! Actually when I was coloring the white lines, I was thinking why I can't seem to pick a certain color/design for it. Even thought of removing it but I then thought that the dress might look plain. That's probably just me. Fail headphones, right? Good eyes, good eyes, Nikka. I had no more time to fix it so I went with it though it looked wrong at some point.
