Earthquakes go through the ground, so it might be able to smash anything underground. I don't know.Β

I wish I lived in Tornado Alley. My parents preferred going through earthquake than a tornado.

In Tornado Alley I would have my prized possessions in the storm cellar as well as my bed.

Don't let that deceive you. Size doesn't matter when it comes to measuring a tornado's power.

What really matters are the wind speeds. There are some small skinny tornadoes with incredible power, & wide huge tornadoes with less strength. And the tornado on this picture was an F5.

Here's a video of that same tornado in action: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-m9YS…

Despite a tornado's destruction, I'd rather go through them than an earthquake. Earthquakes happen as sudden as lightning (unfortunately I live in Earthquake Alley), while with tornadoes there are warning signs & you have a storm cellar. Why don't they build houses underground in Tornado Alley?!

I didn't really think about it but, as long as it's not huge, it won't be that scary. In fact, it'd be kinda cool, if it was an F1-F2

actualy, f1-f2 are storms, not tornados.

Yes, but they can also mean Fujita, the scale used for measuring tornados. thy switched to the EF scale- the Enhanced Fujita Scale- a few years back, but occasionally I forget about the E
