The Bound Woman.

This one was quite fun to do, because she's so contorted that I was able to bend and twist parts of the anatomy so they looked un-natural.

As with all the ghost portaits, Ref'd from numerous sources, mainly random photos. Most facial features. That angle is really difficult to free-hand. ; ;

I enjoyed this one.. and like the others, she seemed to come together in the last hours.

Next up is.. The Torn Prince. Joy.

EDIT: People seem to think I paint these from imagination, which is impossible. Most of my character busts are heavily referenced from manymany photographs, family members, my own dog, or various other things. In order to get this level of realism and detail you have to know what to paint, and that can only come through observation of reality.
