That's my favorite S Shield. Ever since I saw the Fleischer cartoons, I've loved it.

It is also one of my favorites it is tied with the one that is in man of steel which is based on an older version of the symbol as well as the Kingdom Come Shield which is in the same vein as the fleischer one.

Retro Supes is my favorite. Loved the Fleischer cartoons from the 40's. Would love to see that version again in a movie or animated series. Probably won't ever happen. But it should.

I get the feeling this would be their outfits if they just stuck with the Golden-Age version of Superman this entire time, and (like other shows and comics) barely changed anything over the entire time. In other words, this would be how they SHOULD have appeared in Earth-2 (Conner, of course, just didn't happen whereas Supergirl turned out to be Power Girl. But this little trio makes more sense).
