when I worked on Mastermind mind for my marvel project my one would have sunshades to cover his shadow like eyes and when taking theme off would let him use his mutant power

Really diggin' Toad. Toad's always been one of my favorite characters ever since the first X-Men movie, to the second X-Men Legends video game, and even to the new Days of Future Past movie. You really did Toad some justice, great job! Over all I'm really liking how everyone else looks but I'm still pretty astonished by Toad.

I'm okay with the Scarlett Witch look. I was trying to make her jacket mimic her fathers a little bit. I didn't really see her as someone who would wear much of a costume. I was never a fan of the one piece bathing suit and weird head piece. Though I am working on an alternate design for her and Quicksilver. I'll post as soon as they're finished. Let me know what you think.Β

well when he was in the hellfire club, he created an entire fake world for Phoenix to live in, this was part ofΒ Dark Phoenix saga, the hellfire club was using Mastermind to control her

Hmmm...I'm not really sure how I would write him. When reading about him for inspiration for his design there really wasn't much info on him. And the issues he was in from the original X-Men series there really wasn't much to his character. He definitely needs an overhaul though. Considering he becomes part of the Hellfire Club, one would think he would be quite a powerful character.Β

Thanks a lot! They were fun to work on. Maybe we'll get a good X-Men cartoon again at some point. Not looking good though with what I've seen of 'Ultimate Spider-Man' or 'Avengers Assemble'. Both cringe-worthy.

Thanks for the comment! No, it's not. The style is influenced by Clement Sauve, who did the designs for 'G.I. Joe: Renegades.' The costumes are just a more updated look I came up with based on what I think would be done in a modern cartoon. Magneto is obviously influenced by his movie look. I'll eventually get the line-up of the original X-Men team up here.

Oh, I see - I'm not a regular follower of the series, though, so it didn't pop in my mind, lol. I can definitely see that, though; the series' got a great design bible.
