Yep, when I saw last week's KH3 trailer my jaw dropped when I saw Aqua turned dark. Now, the take is between she's been really possessed or it's simply the corruption from darkness. But regardless, here's my take. I also tried to improve on the general hair styleRelated content

Well, whether or not she's lost herself to the darkness or if Xehanort did find a way to possess her during the final stages of or after his resurrection, we won't know until KH3 finally debuts a week later.

Heh, I can agree on that. But let's be honest as well. That trailer took everyone by surprise. Nobody expected Aqua to be turned to the darkness

True...but there's been some hints all throughout 0.2. Even in her sad as hell theme, it gave us a hint that her fate would be a tragic one.

I think her fate was already destined to be tragic, with her not being able to come back to the world of light, her constant struggles of heart in 0.2 BBS (which led me to make this drawing) and, always from 0.2 BBS, the opening movie for the game that resumes BBS. But as I thought that she could have a happy ending in KH3, Nomura decided "Nope. Let's make it more tragic" and turned her into a vessel for Xehanort. I'm scared, but also hyped to see how it resolves when the game finally comes out

Yup, that too. The fact that she traveled the RoD for so long is another big hint of her turn to darkness... Still, Nomura should have kept this SECRET until KH3's release. I agree with his more tragic direction for the series, but I better not see anymore major spoilers like that in future trailers...

I have to agree there. The worlds may be as long as 0.2 BBS (which is a good thing), but we're getting a bit too much information, even though it gives me some ideas to draw. Last time I had to experience something like this was with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Saphire, with a lot of info revealed that it pretty much covered almost everything of the games. I wish they'd reveal 1 or 2 random trailers (possibly one for the Big Hero 6 world and maybe another to confirm Master Xehanort's new voice since Nimoy unfortunatly deceased) and that's it. Heck, as of today we have the full version of the japanese version of Don't Think Twice, the new opening/ending
