I live to draw cliche themes. @@ And I can almost guarentee you. That hawk/eagle/thing is going to be erased and redrawn. >> Anyhoo, I spent around 1.5 hours on this. :] I love oC.Sorry I haven't been uploading or posting lately; I didn't think that anything I drew meritted a polished deviant. Mostly stuff for the Realm of Atea. :]

I really wish that I could come up with some sort of intelligent comment other than, "I really like this" but I think I'm out of words.
I love the contrast, not crazy about the bird, but it doesn't bother me having it there. I adore the figure taking on the darkness, I think each of us knows what that's like on one level or another...

Woa! Brilliant! I really love the piece and don't even think of removing that eagle! Damn, it give the whole piece depth, what you could do is adding a bit of shadows on it but don't remove it.

I feel like I'm drawn more to the background and the.. light? matter that is extending forward.. the illuminatedness around the girl's head.. I'm not sure why, I just feel connected to that.. it's very beautiful and loose.. inspirational.

question, do u draw all on one layer? or do u transfer it to photoshop?

I did most of the coloring on one layer. I guess you can say I did it all on one layer, because afterwards, I duplicated it, turned down the opacity of that copy, and lightened the parts that I wanted to lighten. Basically, I do one layer, and use the second layer to increase the contrast. :3

i just found working on two layers on oC is weird because of the default multiply mode that can't be changed...
but wow... i can't do things on one layer, i mean what it i screw up! haha
