Description
The picture was taken by as I was walking to the jousting field for to take place in a wedding ceremony. In it I am wearing my complete suit of armour, minus my helm. And I am red of face not only because the gambeson I am wearing under the armour is like a winter jacket; but also because my group had just finished giving a sword combat demonstration. And yes, steel swords were used.
Where was this? It was at the Kingdom of Osgoode Medieval Festival. Held annually in the township of Osgoode. My group also gave a combat demonstration during the King's Feast later that evening. At the end of that day my feet were killing me and I was exhausted.
