I remember those days. If I were still using my old style, this could be up to 10 layers. Lately I've been using layers better, so if I do use layers it'd only be 3 (only because I like to save the sketch on its own layer).
But it's so much nicer using only one layer.

Yeah, but I always have the problem where I paint on the wrong layer. xD But one layer isn't bad. It's just like a traditional painting, like acrylic or watercolor.

Yes it is! But it really helps to know what you want as the background, and I often improvise as I paint.

Thanks! It was a little annoying at the end when I realized that I forgot to paint some clouds, but it came out alright. I actually like one-layer painting.
