Description
I found the original for this in the 2007 calendar. I love the original picture, but found it difficult to make the dirt on her face not look strange. Hopefully you folks will like it anyway! It is on 9x12 bristol board using 6B, 3B, 2B, HB, F pencils and mechanical pencil.Related content

You have a sketchy emotionality about you. I love all of your drawings. I have seen artists who have a much smoother, more true tone, but I prefer yours. Only so much can be said for those who can perfectly reproduce a portrait. I believe that the emotion portrayed is much more important. Question though, what scanner are you using?

Thank you for the very kind compliments on my work. My scanner is at home, so I don't remember the model number. It is an HP scanner/printer combination and uses a large black cartridge and I believe 5 smaller individual colors. If you want more detailed information, I'll check it out when I get home!

It has only taken me two weeks to remember to get you my printer information. I guess that is one of the curses of being over 30! It is a HP Photosmart 3200 All-in-One Printer. Sorry it took so long!
