The epic journey that was Twiggy the Eoraptor is finally finished.He has been halfway around the world to be painted by the wonderful ~Baryonyx-walkeri and flown back.
And now he safely resides with the commissioner who lovingly watched over the entire process (and shelled out the money aha) of making and transporting him.

so here he is, 100% done and safely at home where he will be much loved and looked after. My largest project so far. I am so, so happy.

The compies weren't venomous, I think that was the Dilophosaurus. xD
I don't think anyone knows if any dinosaur was actually venomous. Nothing they say about eoraptor points in that direction as far as I know. c:

The Dilophosaurus could spit venom (in said fiction of course). The compies just made you sleepy and numb when they bit you, unless you were allergic. That's how Hammond died, got attacked and eaten alive by a whole pack as I remember it.

Yeah but I thought that was just because he was bit repeatedly. xD
but I only saw the movies, I never got to read the books, so of course I don't know everything.

The first book is vastly different from the movies in tone in a lot of areas, there are many fewer good guys, Hammond is not one of them. Standard Michael Crighton iffy science warning aside (book version of Congo involved interpreting a new sign language of the apes from raw video on a machine with about 80kB or memory), the book version of Jurassic Park is much better. More explanation, more philosophy, more people instead of cardboard cutouts, fewer massive asspulls (except for the big one of course).

You already know how I feel about him <3 I have a feeling he'll be a great topic starter for my family and friends who get to see him. He is very much loved, and his arrival was highly anticipated. I couldn't thank you both enough, truely, for taking on this huge project.
