Paper: Cardstock of various colours.
Materials: Copic markers, wooden pegs, sticky foam spacers.
Dimensions: 8"x10" inside, 3/4" frame (white), 2.3" deep.

After a lot of jumbling around going on in my life recently, I really needed something like this; my contribution to the September challenge in The Art Jams, Calvin and Hobbes. Originally searching for those iconic comic frames, like the dancing, bubblegum head, walking across the log or even zooming through the air in their wagon, one reoccurring theme stuck with me. Hobbes pouncing Calvin any chance he got.

Among my searching, I ran across a wallpaper by xX-Pureness-Xx (based on a scan from the comic) that focused on the suspense moment. Felt like the perfect scene to utilize and try some different papercutting ideas.
